The Computer Science Student Society invites all of our members to the first Semi-Annual General Meeting of the year! If you have any questions about the CSSS or like to give input about the club and discuss club matters, this is a great opportunity to do so. There will be food provided at the meeting. We’re also hosting a karaoke night after the meeting (at around 6:30), so invite your friends to swing by and sing to your heart’s content!

All undergraduate Computer Science majors are invited to the Computer Science department’s open house on Imagine Day!

Find out about CS programs (both academic and extracurricular) and CS-related clubs. Talk to company representatives about career opportunities for CS students and grads. Enjoy delicious free food and prize draws.

Description: Come by and visit us anytime between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm:

• Meet with academic advisors and learn about the programs we offer
• Find out about Computer Science Student Society (CSSS) upcoming events, CS department special career programming and events, the ACM Programming Competition, Reading Room resources and the Science Co-op program.
• Speak with company representatives from Amazon, A Thinking Ape and HootSuite. Learn about career opportunities at these companies and what it’s like to work there. Bring your resume along and get some quick “first impressions” resume feedback from them.
• Enjoy a free bbq lunch, courtesy of the department and the CSSS. Food served between 11 am and noon.
• Prize draw at noon for $50 Starbucks gift cards. You must be there in person to win!
